recent driveway projects
Every driveway is a different site with a different story — a new estate block with no crossing, a sloped block that needs careful drainage, an old driveway that turned out to be better repaired than replaced. This is where we show the work: real jobs across Canberra, Queanbeyan and the surrounding region, taken from bare ground or worn-out slab through to a finished driveway.
Each project is a deep dive into what the site needed and how we solved it — the challenges, the council approvals, the finish, and the result. Concrete, asphalt and paved, from new installs to repairs and full replacements. Have a look through, and when you're ready to find out what your own site needs, it starts the same way every one of these did: with an honest assessment.
CONCRETE DRIVEWAY REPAIR - OXLEY
A section of this Oxley driveway had cracked and lifted, catching vehicles and creating a trip hazard. Lifting it revealed the real problem which was the sub-base beneath had completely hollowed out. The failed section was removed by hand, rebuilt on new DGB20 base with SL82 reinforcement mesh, and repoured to sit flush with the existing driveway.
EXPOSED AGGREGATE DRIVEWAY - TURNER
A Turner home with beautiful landscaping and a tired old driveway. We excavated the original slab and replaced it with 100sqm of exposed aggregate, including a new vehicle crossing beside a working bus stop.
ASPHALT DRIVEWAY - AINSLIE
A homeowner in Ainslie was preparing to sell, but a cracked, failing two-strip concrete driveway was letting the property down. We removed it and laid a new asphalt driveway with brick edge paving, lifting the street appeal of a home in one of Canberra's most in-demand suburbs, ahead of a successful sale.
